Ronaldo keen on city move

Former World Cup winner and Real Madrid striker Ronaldo claims he is set to join Eastlands outfit Manchester City.

The 31-year-old three-time World Footballer of the Year is without a club since leaving AC Milan in the summer and is currently recovering from a serious knee injury he suffered in February.

However, he claims he is ready to link up with fellow Brazilian Robinho at Eastlands.

Ronaldo said: "I like the project that Manchester City have presented me.

"They want to make the club one of the best in the world and I feel that I can help.

"It is the best offer I've received and it will be very interesting to play with Robinho.

"Me and him, together, we can score more than 50 goals."
