Fabregas - City move 'suicidal'

Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas responded to the newly-rich Manchester City's reported interest with the ultimate snub.
After Man City caused a stir in the football world with the purchase of Robinho at the last minute of the transfer window, the head of the Abu Dhabi United group gave a list of future targets for the club.

Arsenal and Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas was one of the names at the top of the list, along with Ruud van Nistlerooy, Fernando Torres, Kaká and Gianluigi Buffon.

Buffon and Van Nistelroy have both already sated they would have no nterest in joining the Eastlands set-up, and now Fabregas has done the same.

“It would be suicidal for my career at my 21 years of age to move to City. It would make no sense."

If Man City do actually reach a Champions League spot this season, it will be interesting to see how many players change their mind about joining them next summer.
